Powertrain and Performance

A 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder engine rated at 150 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque gives power to the 2010 New Beetle Convertible. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard. The EPA estimates are 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.
